Geez, that's an awesome price. $1,674 (after rebate) for a 3Ghz P4, 128MB Geforce 5600, and that awesome screen. That's cheaper than Dell sells the 8600 with a 15.4" screen!

Only problem is, aren't HP notebooks supposed to suck? I've heard they're nothing but trouble.

Anyone know what chipset it uses? What's this 10% off coupon Spooon mentions? Geez that's tempting...but not if it's a POS.

I am very happy with the HP I own, and am equally as happy with the previous older one. I would not hesitate to recommend an HP.

It's at one of those sites we're not supposed to talk about. Also, I took advantage of a student discount.

I ordered a Compaq 2100Z a while back (prior to the 10% coupon coming out 🙁). Got it for really nice price.
