hmm, do you have any idea what the keyboard looks like? last time I used HP computers they had some bone head location for the shift or control key

yeah it had the potential to be a super awesome deal if you stacked everything right.

hp EPP has it at $428 , so - $75 and - 5% ebates right now, it was going to be somethign like $335 if you could get it all to stack up right.

even now i think you can still get a $30 epp coupon and it'll be $375 ish +taxes

I messed around with one at Fry's and decided to order one (HP deal was $95 cheaper). I'll do a little update on how it is when I get it.

The best price I can get it to now is $419 + taxes. The $30 coupon won't stack with a student account discount, and I don't have an epp account.

It's about $600 if I bought it base and went ahead myself and added a SSD or XT drive & bumped it up to 8 gigs of ram. Not a terrible deal, but the sub $600 it would've been with the $75 off coupon would've been fantastic.

if youre gonna spend 600 or even 400 youd be better off getting a laptop. those notbooks look fun but they arent worth that much. im sure in a month or two when they are everywhere theyll be 300 or less

if you look at the slickdeals thread, there is way to get an epp accoount through borders rewards that is open to everyone.

i think the best you can do is that which is $22 off then there is like $25 off coupoon that can work in epp.
