Hp x2 210 replacement Screen

Hi everyone I new to all this and I'm not sure if anyone will even see this post but here's hoping. I bought my husband an hp pavilion x2 210 tablet/laptop for Xmas our dog has just knocked it of the table and smashed the screen I was wondering if anyone would know where and how to get one or if I even can get one I'm gutted I saved for mths to get him one and the dog breaks it within 2 days I have no idea what to do

The X2-21- machine is a current tablet model with a separate, detachable screen.

The pic shows several ports on the edge of the screen portion so there is more circuitry than just the video function so repairing it is probably not a viable option, and because it's relatively new, the chances are small of finding a damaged unit with a working screen on the open market (ebay, etc.).

I think your best bet would be to contact HP support and/or local tech service to ask how much they would charge to replace the screen section. The worst case would be that it would cost as much as, or more than, buying a new one.

Not a happy ending for a new Xmas gift, but unfortunately, gravity can be unkind to tech toys.
