HP TX series

I want something small and portable, but it still needs to pack a punch for an occasional game. I don't want a PDA simply because I think I'll be picking up a Moto Q or something like that.

I've come across these HP tx notebooks. I really like them. 12.1" screens that swivel 180 degrees and can lay down with screen facing up so that you can watch movies, etc. It also has an option for touch screen, so I could use it for notes and things of that nature. Comes with Vista Home Prem., so I figure I would have to upgrade to atleast 2GB. Big drawback is I don't know how the graphics are and if they can handle something like Americas Army.

Has anybody heard anything about these? I hadn't until I saw one at the local Staples store.

Nobody has heard anything about these? Like if they are cheaply built or if there are any other cons to them such as screen or keyboard problems, etc.

NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 6150

You can add all the memory and processing power you want, but with that gfx solution, you won't game worth a darn. AA at 800x600 all lows is all you could expect from that.

A tx1000 would be a bad choice for gaming; I'd rather get a dv2500t in that class and spec it out from HP's site with dedicated graphics. It's not a bad system from what I've seen, but it's a relatively cheap tablet for a reason.

Oh and btw... I wouldn't get a Moto Q. I had to return 3 of them before I finally switched to Blackberry. The Q is horrible (blame it on windows Mobile).

Alright I'll look into the dv2500 series and see if they have any small ones.

Oh and thanks for the info on the Q, I can't get a new phone for another year so hopefully something else comes out between now and then.

Thanks for the help
