omfg...i've talked to 3 different people about this issue now and not one fo them can fix it...everything they tell me to do i already tried and the stuff i didn't do doesn't work or i don't have the files they are talking about...

Also, put Sony on this list. Tried to download a sound driver for my Vaio, but it lagged big time! Why can't they put it on a good server with a good connection?

they still couldn't fix my problem and they're telling me i should have this one directory and i don't. i've reinstalled the software literally 16 times now and not once have i seen the directory they are talking about.

it keeps trying to install this photogallery software every time i boot up or open the image zone software.

i've sort of fixed it myself by deleting everything that mentions photogallery in the registry. now instead of popping up 3 times for about 20 seconds each time, it pops up once for like half a second then goes away.

i'm thinking of selling the PoS printer on Ebay and getting a different model or different brand.

tell me about it....

called compaq awhile ago ("now part of HP!" so the recording said) and I waited on hold for 45 minutes, talked to someone who I couldn't understand and who went to "transfer" me and instead hung up on me. Called back, waited another hour, got hung up on again, called them back, then they told me that "warranties aren't transferrable" - ummm ok whatever I'll fix it myself you turds

everything works fine - printing, scanning, copying. its just that damn annoying little program that keeps popping up!

i've run into very few hp printers that have caused problems. come to think of it, those other problems were all-in-one printers too. one wouldn't copy and one wouldn't scan.
maybe all-in-ones are just crap?

That's what I got when I tried calling Dish two nights ago. Ughhhh. I can't imagine that's good for business, no matter how much less you have to pay the call support people. Couldn't understand the first guy, had to call back.

Dish outsources their CSR's? 😕

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the Windows 98 days I was having problems printing envelopes. The young lady inquired as to which program I was using to print the envelopes.

I told her that I was using Microsoft Word.

She said she was not familiar with Word so she would have to switch me to someone who was.
