I've had a similar experience, the sore spot for me is the slow emmc. I also find it interesting that they used an ultra book chasis.
I think I can get past the storage speed. So far my only compaints are:

Low storage. I knew what I was going into going in, but I'd honestly rather have something like a 320-500gb mechanical drive or a 64gb SSD. Solid state is nice but not at the expensive of so much storage. I understand this was a cost saving measure however and it WAS a $230 machine.

Trackpad. Easy to trigger gestures and a little mushy. I usually have a wireless mouse but during the time I do have to use the trackpad I wish It could be slightly better.

Wifi chip seems to be a little weak. On a usually fast connection on other machines, which usually pull 10-20mbps down and 5-10mpbs up over wifi, the stream only did 4mbps down and less than 1mpbs up. It was also dropping connections just down the hall from the router. I'm going to see if this problem persists on other networks.

Other than that I'm very pleased. After I got my base configuration set up I'm down to about 10gb. We'll see how fast it goes after that. I only plan on using this until Windows 10 drops so about a year.

Another thing I like is that CPU usage stays relatively low for simple web browsing and apps. It usually hovers around 20-25% even on sites with flash content. The A4-6400T seems to be a good basic use CPU.

Wow, I didn't have such nice experience in regards to the cpu usage, mine spikes to 100% often. As for the storage speed issues aside, its capacity is adequate for me augmented with a 64gb usd card. Another thing that didn't bother me was wifi, much more consistent and stable compared to my tablet.

About the trackpad, was it me or does it behave eradic and freak out on you?

I'm thinking the Wifi issue could be related to the network I was on but I am still investigating that. Right now with Firefox and a few tabs open my CPU is at 5-9%, we'll see what it's like after I've had it a little longer. The trackpad has been a little erratic but nothing that's been a deal breaker so far.

I'm going to buy an SD card to help augment the onboard storage. Do you know if it takes the 128gb SDXC cards? Didn't wanna plop $60 down and have it not work. 64gb should be fine but I'd like to have the option for more storage if possible.

Another thing I'm impressed by is the keyboard. It is surprisingly usable and comfortable to type on.

Yeah storage its the same as in BT-T tablets with eMMC, high cpu usage and performance somewhat affected by using wimboot, and it does not even save that much space, maybe 2gb.
