HP Spectre x360

Hi All

As you can see in the attached image, a piece attached to my pc's motherboard is loose and about to fall off. It is barely connected on the left side.

Does anyone know what this transistor (or whatever it is) does?

So far, I haven't noticed any changes to the running of my pc.

I have no idea, but if nobody else answers this, you might try to squeeze this question in the comment section of one of the youtube videos of Louis Rossmann.
