All these years, I have never had a bad experience with Buy.com.
Nevertheless, it has receined many negative feedbacks at pricegrabber.com customer reviews section. ?????
Sometimes, it is hard to believe customer reviews on online stores..

I am still using my $9 Googlegear special, pre ZipZoomFly. Its a POS, but still works!! Chug cha chug cha chug....!!

I think it was made by a guy named Long Wang, in his garage, somewhere in/near Outer Mongolia. He assembled it when he was not busy hearding Yaks. 8>)

Got one for free when I bought my IP4000.

The scanner is fine for receipts or documents, but is a pile of crap for photos. If you are only going to use it for casual scanning, for the price its fine.

But don't waste your time for photos.

Ditto. I bought this Visioneer crap box before Christmas in 2002. It's been hanging around ever since.

What model was this scanner? Link doesn't work and my Visioneer 4400 USB just died on me. Light seems to not work right and everything is all streaky or bleached out so I need something new....

dead about 3 weeks ago. Discontinued.
Not sure about the model number but it was the clear "window" type.
