I bought two of these scanners a few months ago for about the same price after PM, coupon, and MIR. They weren't the easiest things to install. The ones I got were very tempermental with the cables on the back. I was buying and setting up one for my father-in-law, and one for me. The cables wouldn't stay firmly attached. On top of that, I procrastinated and ended up not getting my rebate 'cause I sent it in 35 days after I bought it. Even though I the rebate had over a month left in the promotion, since it was over 30 days after I bought it, they refused the rebate. It was written on the rebate form, so I can't hold them at fault, but that's just weaseling out of a rebate. My F.I.L. is happy with the scanning, but not the OCR. I wouldn't recommend this scanner over some of the cheaper models that have been posted in the past. I thought I would spend the extra money and get HP quality. I found out HP quality, as well as their customer service, has vanished. I ended up returning my scanner, and I will not look to HP as a product to buy any more. Not unless another of those Hp 930 deals show up again .
