There's a trick to buying refub products. Make sure they're FACTORY refurbished. What this means is someone like HP's manufacturing facility as put new "guts" into the product. If it's not factory refurbished, then that means "Joe's Repair Shop" fixed a part and is reselling it as new. I just received this scanner two days ago and it's great! Has a one year warranty through HP just like a new one.

It works pretty good. They advertise it as a 3300cse but it is actually a 3300c. Regardless, it's a good basic scanner. I went and picked one up since I live in the area. They wanted to charge me like almost 10 bucks to deliver it five miles.
