Okay here the situtation. I know there a lots of ppl who wants as much HP that engine can produce.
This is what doesn't make to much sense to me, so here the thing
Both have the same engine size and displacement, just different red line
Honda Accord 02 DX
135HP @5400
VS
Accord 02 LX
150HP @5700
Comparison btw DX & LX
Same thing for the 2003 Totoya Matrix
XR
130 HP @6000
VS.
XRS Trim (Sport)
180 HP @7600
So here my theory, can the DX and XR produce the same amount of HP as there "big brother" if they can redline at 5700 (Accord), 7600 (Maxtrix)
PS. Honda say VTEC does NOT exists on DX model, but would that just be VTEC is "giving" 5700 redline instead of the 5400.
On the Matrix, both engines are same using VVT-I Toyota version of VTEC
Furthermore, why don't they put VTEC on V6 engines.
