I would think so. I just got a fair deal from H-P - three twin packs (96/97) and there is no expiration date on any of the packagesd, inside or out. I'm looking then at a 2 year supply. :)

I have seen some dates marked use by or exp date stamped on some, but not all, of the HP96 / HP97 ink packs I have bought. I just got an HP96 black from eBay for $13.99 and the package had a date of 2007 on it. Still sealed so should be fine.

It should be OK. None of my new twin packs have dates anywhere. I did find an old 99 cartridge (for B&W photos) that is have never used. It was made in Ireland and has a JUL07 printed on it.

It does not say "Use By" or anything else. It may be a lot number and date of manufacture.

I would agree. The cartridges are good for years beyond the published date.

Don't quote me.:D
