HP Printer Ink Cartridge (PLEASE RESPOND)

hi, i am thinkin about doing a mass printer yearbook print out and i was wondering, how many full page color ink printouts can one HP cartridge handle. Is it about 40 pages before it runs out of ink? I just need estimates from personal experience. This is just to see if this is cheaper than mass color copies at kinkos. It costs about 25 bucks to get 30 pages, bout 5 in color. thanks!

Depends on which printer you're talking about. On my HP 2000C I can usually go about 500 full color pages before replacing the color. However, on HP's 700, 800, and 900 series, 40-100 pages sounds about right.

Forgot to mention, the copies will probably look a lot better if printed through Kinko's (depending on their equipment). It's almost worth it if you want really good quality.
