Anyone running an HP printer and Windows x64? A few months ago, I couldnt find a driver for my printer, so I had to go back to 32bit XP. HP had a work around but it never worked for me. Just wondering if anyone has got an HP printer similar to mine working. I use my printer very frequently for printing pictures and cant do without it.

The HP Photosmart 7350 is a discontinued model, and the driver for X64 has "o" bytes - i.e., nothing there. I don't see them spending any money to development new drivers for a printer that is dead. You have two choices, basically - stay with X32 or get a new printer.

Many times there is a 'generic' option, meaing a more mainstream model # may work for your printer. This is how HP actually handled alot of the 98->XP issues. You could check their site or your manual. You may not have 100% of the features, but you would have most and a working printer.

Thanks Bill.

I think I may just setup the printer on my laptop running XP 32bit. I can edit the pic on my main system, and then print it off the laptop. :)

A good compromise, just realized you could do the same with a 32bit VM on the box too, probably a bit of overkill tho!
