Ever Run out of that ink cartridge when you can least afford to, well the printer is less than one cartridge.

the cable DOES NOT come with the printer, regardless of what the ad says...but it does come with 2 cartridges, economy (small) size color and b&W

Where did you see any thing for rebate? The price is ~30 with coupon not rebate.

Kido, the original post before editing pointed also to the rebate but this seems to be expired. But with shipping and tax, it could be still around $35.

There's a reason after you press "add to cart" button it takes you to a page that says "!this is a required cable blah blah blah" It seems like this does not come with the cable.

BTY, are they saying that the only cable this uses is the firewire?

I ordered one. For $32 this is a fine printer in my book. Even without the rebate and printer cable it is still a good deal. If their is not a cable I am going to call up and complain. Who knows, they may kick in a cable or give me a price adjustment. We'll see.

Edit:
I just went to the Staples site to print out the web page that states that this printer comes with the cable. While reviewing the ad I could not help but laugh when I read "Even connects to your WebTV set-top box so you can print email, receipts, Coupons, lists, and maps." Note the part on coupons!!!
