Anyone have experience with HP televisions? They seem to be priced well, but I can't find any good reviews on them.

This looks like a great deal for a 50" plasma.

Edit: Now it's $1,349

Those 50" plasmas sure are looking delicious. I started paying attention to the pricing just about Super Bowl time. Since then nothing happened until last week when I noticed a $100 price drop on the Panasonic "professional" version (...9UK). Having this HP drop to $1350 (before shipping) ought to trigger similar price cuts in the Vizio, Maxent, and other "cheapo" brands, which will drag down the top tier brands even further. I'm really curious to see what happens with the 1080p plasmas. Right now they have luxury prices ($4K or more for a 50") but as I understand the 1080 LCDs also started out with luxury pricing and came crashing down in very short time.

I saw this set at CUSA, and it is by far the clearest set that they have on the floor!

It looks like what's happening is that panel mfgs are clearing out 1080i/720p models to make room for 1080p which now trigger significant price cuts.
Have we seen the bottom yet?
Dunno, but let's hope not.

I thought the 50in was mainly the weekend deal which was the main reason why I'd deleted it and also too lazy to start a new thread for the 42" :)
Yeah..Onecall is a great e-retailer, some of its sale folks knew me by name too since I have purchased and referred many deals to them for years.
Ask for Thomas who is a great sale guy to work with.
Added the 50" back to the post.
