HP Photosmart 320 Digital Camera

Well, I picked up the HP 2.1 MP digital camera from Staples on black friday for $80 as a gift for my parents. They are wanting a camera to mainly take pictures of my sister's baby and other things around the house. Nothing too high end, so I figured this is a great camera for them. After reading some reviews on the camera, I am wondering whether or not I should give it to them. They keep picking up the Sony camera's with the optical zoom, but I keep telling them they do not need to spend $400 on a digital camera for what they want to use it for. Anyone have any experiences with this camera? I don't want to give it to them if they are not going to be happy with it, because they will keep it and not get what they want for fear that they might hurt my feelings. I would use the hell out of the camera, so I really don't know what to do. How is the quality of this camera? Does the zoom work well? How long of a delay between pictures?

Thanks,
Jason
