Hi,

I have a 2575 printer which on power up indicates that there is a problem with colour cartridge, and I can't print anything.
I've tried removing the cartridge but that still doesn't help.

You'd think that at least it will print in black and white but it just won't do anything if there's a problem with the colour cartridge.

Is there a way to override this behaviour?

This problem always happens with colour the cartridge even though I hardly use it.

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, this is pretty normal. In order to sell more ink, all carts have to be working and have ink in them, even if you're only printing B&W. Likewise, if the ink carts are run down and empty, most multi-function printers will refuse to allow themselves to be used to scan.
