In for one. I'm actually using one of these as my daily-driver, and I like it a lot. (Edit, the one I'm currently using is a NON-REFURB HP bought direct from Walmart.com, just so there's no confusion.)

Battery life is good, performance is decent (OK, opening 10 youtube players bogs it down badly, but that's something that's been going around lately).

And tonight I saw listings of it with 8GB and 16GB of RAM (probably 3rd-party), so it looks like it's upgradable (many HP model are). Going to have to check into that, as this is one of the best laptops that I've used lately as far as "new, cheapo", that I've been impressed with.

That said, I ordered a paid of 11th-gen i3 laptops Gateway branded from VIPOUTLET on Walmart, and the one that I pulled out and tested, kept having this problem of the screen scrolling halfway-up (lock screen), then saying to scroll further to reboot, and it was restarting. Don't know if that was related to a power issue, malware, or what.

Gateway is known to have lower quality than HP, so hopefully this HP is going to be better.

Red flag for me, even on a cheap device. But out of curiosity, what's the boot to desktop time in seconds? How many hours of battery life?
