I think you misunderstood. Outpost takes flooz (in fact you cannot mix paymentsfor outpost, i.e. you can't pay with flooz and credit card together). So use your AMEX and buy the amount of flooz you need. It's at this time that AMEX will give you a 10% discount on the amount of flooz you purchase. This offer should be somewhere in the AMEX site offerzone section.

And if you have the $50 and/or $130 flooz coming from other deals mentioned in the forum you can get it cheaper.
