HP Pavilion zd8000 Notebook PC

HP says it's coming soon, and its currently labeled as having the x600 radeon gpu. The new x800 gpu is supposedly coming out in a week or so. Im hoping they'll use the new x800, and not waste time on the x600, just makes sense. Plus I want the x800 , then this can be my dream laptop.

You think this is a possibilty? maybe they are waiting to release it with the new gpu?

Don't count on it. HP has not used a high end ATI chipset on any of their recent notebooks.

also no DVI out on the ZD8000?

What's with that?

Dell's 17" weighs less, has DVI out, has a faster gpu (or not?), has a laptop CPU giving it longer battery life and a better screen (1900x1200). OTOH it is a dell...... Another thing with the ZD HPs is that due to the keypad your hands are offset to the left on the keyboard. I think that would drive me batty.
