HP Pavilion xt 948: need new motherboard

it has a Intel 845 chipset motherboard. Do you think any micro ATX MB will fit it.

opps, sorry, gues it is just a regular ATX motherboard in there, not a micro.

Be careful about swapping mobo's on an HP. My dad had a Pavillion and I found that HP puts an embeded chip thingy on the mobo. Without the embeded chip the OS won't work. Meaning you may have to purchase a new OS if you change mobo's.

Sucks, I'll have to get them a new copy of XP. Worried about the power supply not providing enough for a new mother board. Its only like a 270 watt supply.
