I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop with Vista Home Premium. The keyboard has started to act up. When I press some of the keys they do not work OR they seem to do something that they should not like sending hidden "ctrl" character combos.
At first I thought it was a physical keyboard problem but I have installed an USB keyboard that mimics the laptop keyboard problem. I have also used Teamviewer to remotely access the computer and the same keyboard problem exist. This all suggests to me that it's not a physical keyboard problem. I have also completely reinstall the OS and software via the HP recovery partition thinking it's a software/driver issue. The problem still presists.
I have tried taking the battery out and unplugging for several minutes and Google suggests but absolutely no luck.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
