No video at all.

Looking for a friend, and the onboard card has no picture and someone added a PCI card and it also has no picture. I put in a card I had laying around and still nothing. Where do you go from there? Everything looks connected and the CMOS battery has plenty of volts not sure where to look.

any help is appreciated. Bad MOboard?

any ideas folks? Where do you troubleshooter folks go from here. Sure would like to send this computer home fixed.

I would take out the ram and see if you got post beeps taking that the internal speakers is still working. If you get beeps that lets you know that mostly your motherboard and cpu is ok and you may have bad ram .

Also if you have other psu to try to rule that out. Also unplug anything that is not needed usb ports and such cause they can short out a system.

jtisgeek, you are the MAN seems like re-seating the RAM did the trick but also seems to be a conflict with the add-on video card so I removed it and seems to be OK.

Made someone happy indeed.

thanks for the reply.
