My monitor stays in sleep mode and I can't get it to wake up. I can't even get the menu system up and working. Anyone have any ideas?
 
may be a long shot, but try turning off the monitor and then back on.... that same thing happened to me, and that worked, for a moment there I thought my video card puked.
 
Maybe you should spend more time making tomales for your loved ones, then the karma might magic your monitor into working.
