Very good laptop. Built solidly. Keyboard is excellent, about like a VAIO. Not quite as nice as a ThinkPad, but better than Dell, Compaq, Toshiba, etc. Dual pointing instruments a plus.

The little button that detects the closing of the LCD tends to get fatigued with age and heat. Can be easily fixed with a little piece of tape (underneath the panel, so not visible).

For some reason, seems to be a tad bit slower than notebooks from other manufacturers of the same rated speed, though for all real world purposes, difference means next to nothing, especially in light of the overall quality of the Omnibook.

I've never used the software or played with their OEM install. I've only done clean installs, so I'm not too sure how good that package is. On a clean install, notebook runs without a hitch, and is very stable.
