Well I bought a laptop on eBay which will not be coming with a cd drive, Omnibook 510 (has a docking bay) and my question is can I install a standard cd drive into this laptop OR do I need a proprietry cd drive by HP? Has anyone upgraded or replaced a HP cd drive with a generic one? I have seen cd drives at Newegg both by Toshiba and Samsung, they "look" the same as the one for this laptop BUT I am not sure if they will work.
