I just recently built a new computer:
AXP 1600+
nForce2 SPP
512mb (Dual Channel) PC2700
Matrox G450 Dual Head
I have installed the printer drivers for this printer from hp.com and when i open the OfficeJet Manager and go into "Settings and Matnence" I recieve a Communication Error that says "A communication problem has been detected with your HP OfficeJet Series 500". That's about all the info that it tells me about this so-called "communications error"
I found this site:

and did what it told me to do. The problem still exists. Can anyone help me?
