My friend obtained an HP 7110 (all-in-one) and would like to install it (wired to a wireless router) as a network printer so that she, her daughter and son can send print jobs from their respective p/c's.

I managed to find an HP JetDirect 200m model J6039B print server that the model calls for. Question is: How do I install and configure? There is very little in the manual covering the topic of making this 'all-in-one' a network peripheral and I couldn't find any info on the HP website.....it is an older model so I'm not surprised the website is lacking.

I would imagine everything needs to take place via the display panel on the printer...but I'm a little apprehensive of where/how to start.

Can someone advise?

Thanks......

P.S. OS on laptops & p/c's in house are XP and DSL cable provider is Verizon.

EDIT - After posting this.....I re-doubled my search efforts on the HP site and lo & behold...found support info for the model. I THINK I will be okay...but won't know for sure until I get back over to her house with the part and give it a try - STAY TUNED.

START, HELP, punch in "network printing", look up "Install a printer on a home network".
