HP Notebook with Athlon

It has the Nvidia logo on the front so I am assuming it's the chipset. I put in new HD and installed XP Pro - all works but two things:

SM Bus driver. Can't seem to get the right one from Intel or Nvidia's website. Not listed on HP's site for this computer

Audio does not work. No sound device drivers on their website for this model either. But I tried d/loading AC/97 codecs. They get through most of the install procedure, and then blue screen me. System restarts again, with no sound.

Any help on this one? HP"s website had drivers for video and network ... but these other things drive me nuts. It's a ZV5242qv notebook.
