HP motherboard or other problem?

I have a HP m7077c desktop that has multiple problems. From reading the forums it sounds like a motherboard problem. The computer crashes mostly when there are moving pictures or icons or similar items on screen.Computer is getting worse and more unstable.I've added memory, installed new graphics card, tried two new hard drives(one with XP loaded from new recovery discs from HP,one with XP only, which didn't work at all).I tried updating all drivers and programs.Using Flash player 10,computer crashes almost instantly on MSN video and Utube.I can watch video on Adobe flash player site of the day OK.I can also watch video from F1 official site no problem.I can watch WMV files that already on the hard drive but will sometimes crash during downloads.
I can save pictures to hard drives, but I can't copy files or write to cd's,dvd's,or flash drives.
Computer freezes during screensaver.Computer blue screen crashes when trying to load recovery discs.I can surf some sites for hours, others for seconds.
I priced new motherboard, but it won't use recovery discs.Cost of new motherboard with processer and new operating system is almost as much as new computer.
Any help would be great. Thanks.
