Ok, I have an HP monitor that I had from my previous computer and I was going to use it with my new PC that I built. But only to find that the connector doesn't fit!!!!! Man, this sucks. What can I do??? I don't have money to purchase another monitor.

can I use the TV-out on my Radeon 64mb ddr vivo video card to connect my monitor because it fits.?????

What doesn't fit? The analog connector from your monitor to your video card? Somehow I highly doubt that, unless HP uses some proprietary monitor connection that I don't know of. Do u have any pics?

no, I want to connect my monitor to the back of my PC but the connector doesn't fit. The sizes are exactly the same and both have pins sticking out. So i was wondering if I can just use my video card to connect my monitor since I have TV-out

The monitor plug at the end has pins sticking out but the one it is supposed to connect to also has pins sticking out, so its impossible to connect. I thought monitors were universal and that they can be used with any motherboard
BTW, i have gigabyte GA-7DX mobo

Your monitor connects to a video card not the motherboard Unless your motherboard has video built in. The GA7DX does not have onboard video.

your trying to connect your monitor to the db9 (serial port). you want a 15 pin job that will be perpendicular to the motherboard connectors.
