Is there any news of a new HP mininote to replace the 2133?
I love the design and ruggedness, but the hardware inside is terrible, however it would seem they have a chance to leapfrog the performance of every single other netbook in existence.
Use the Via Nano CPU, better than the Atom for most purposes.
Use the ULV version of the new nVidia MCP79 GPU which is rumored to also be used in the new MBA.
This would result in a netbook that is actually useful, which would be a nice change.
Oddly enough, i found a petition that asks for exactly that:
