HP makes good money from their Debian support.

Last year HP started supporting Debian officially on some types of their hardware with 'Debian Care Packages'

This year they've found that they have had 25 million dollars worth of sales directly attributable to Debian-specific support options. This far surpasses any expectations they had.

And this doesn't include any figures from North American stuff. It's all from their Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region sales.
