O.S.: Windows XP
Software : Adobe PageMaker 7.0
Printer : HP LASERJET 2200d
Driver : PCL6

Problem : I can't activate the Duplex Function from PageMaker using the PCL6 driver. When I use PCL5 or Post Script I don't have any problem, and when I use any other graphic software such as Photoshop, any driver works fine.

How can I solve this problem? My friend depends on it to work. No problem happens if he uses Windows 98 as O.S. .

Why don't you just use the PCL5e (latest I think)? If it works you don't need to use the latest PCL6 driver. HP still supports PCL5e driver releases as far as I know.

Tell that to my client... He uses that PCL6 driver for something related to the ink or the paper. He works with book design and graphic stuff. So he pushes the printer to the limit. I don't know why he has to use the PCL6 driver... Anyway, the problem only occurs with the combination PageMaker 7.0 (or 6.5), WindowsXP and PCL6 driver. With this combination we don't know why the duplex function is turned unavaliable.

Thanx for replying
