HP Laser Jet 1100A -- need original install cd

HP in their infinite wisdom has provided only updated drivers for this printer on their site. So without the original install cd I cannot fully use the printer (specifically, the scanner is useless) until I get an original cd.

HP is more than happy to send me one for some $20 fee. I would really prefer to download them from a friend online, for obvious reasons. I can provide FTP info if you can help. I spoke to a friend who used to have this printer and he had the same issues, and said the driver cd was about 50megs total (iso), so this is really not a big deal for a friendly person on broadband.

Please help if you can.

to clarify...

i need someone who has an HP LaserJet 1100 series printer and the original install cd
i would like to have them rip the files from the cd or make an iso, and upload it to my site
(or copy the cd and mail it if you dont have broadband)

Driverguide has this file for Win98 for that printer.

You might need to register first to get it. Doesn't cost anything so don't worry.

thanks for the link WarCon... its not so much the Printer functions but rather the Scanner/Copier that I cannot access. it will print using a generic driver, but the dumb scanner part of this multifunction device won't work. =P
