Well, I've finally decided...After much searching and wandering the nooks and crannys of all that is the internet, I've found a laptop...It's the HP L2000...Specs....Pics....It's an Athlon Turion...I'm takin a risk buyin one, but the idea of future-proof 64-bit computing is what I want...What do yall think?

L2000 looks like a great machine, and you benefit Lance Armstrong's Cancer Foundation when you buy it!
It looks to be a Turion version of the dv1000/V2000; probly same chassis w/diff color scheme. I say go for it, just make sure to get the 12-cell battery 🙂

EDIT And take some NICE pics of it when you get one!

Take some pics man! This is the computer I've been most interested in for some time now...

Although, I must ask, why didn't you go for the ML-30 CPU? For $25-50 more you get double the L2 cache.
