HP L1955

I am looking to get an HP L1955 LCd to replace my current 17" LCD. My main use will be gaming, some CAD work, watching movies and some photo editing.
Has anyone used this screen and what are your thoughts on it?
I am also considering a VP930, but this is around 15% more expensive than the HP.
What are your opinions?

I think it seems like a good monitor. I've been looking into it. I like the 176° viewing angles, true 8-bit color, and decent response time.
