STORY
Now that HP and Compaq have offically merged, the unified company is already making plans on killing it's redundant product lines. As expected, Compaq's printing division is going to be axed, and HP's handheld line is going to be killed in favor of Compaq's iPAQ line.
I don't think that any one is really going to miss Compaq's printers, but the HP Jordana had a small but loyal fan base.
In the future, it looks like HP's Laptop line (they had one?) is going away, and the combined company is getting completely out of the RISC server business.
What do you guys think of this plan? Makes sense, I guess, but a lot of decent products going to disappear because of it.
