HP Jetdirect EX plus3 print server and XP problems. Any help?

I have added the port and found the appropriate drivers within the add port setup in XP. Just cant seem to get this thing to print. Where it asks for the ip or printer name I put in the ip address of the print server. Using dual boot on this box i can print all day long from W98, just not XP yet.

Any help is appreciated.

A very lame guess: rather than the ip address of the server, can you stuff a printer name in there, for whatever printer you're using? Or a new printer setup using the new port?

(I uninstalled XP after getting very frustrated with it....😱🙁 )
 
Ive had good luck with every other device in my box. Just this network thing is eating my lunch.
