HP Jetdirect 300x configuration help

Ok I just picked up for free a HP Jetdirect 300x and I would like to set it up on my home network. I did a test page and it showed it's ip address, which of course is totally different from my networks. But I went through the "add printer" wizard and created a new tcp/ip port and specified the ip of the jet direct using the one the jetdirect showed. I tried to do a test page but nothing printed, I can however push the test button on the jetdirect and it will print. My question is what else do I need to configure? Here's my setup;
cable modem into a 4 port linksys router
3 computers are directly conected to the router
a 3COM 8 port hub is connected to the other port
one system and the jetdirect are connected to the hub

system 1 has win2k server running DHCP, DNS, and is my print server
system 2 has win2 server running web, ftp, and storage programs/services
system 3 and 4 are just win2k pro workstations

First off I would suggest resetting the jetdirect >> Press and hold the Pink test button, count to 5 unplug the power and then plug it back in, all the while keeping the Test button depressed. After this wait a few seconds and print another test page directly from the jetdirect. The IP listed should now be within your DHCP server scope. You can use this IP or pick another but I would really set the jetdirect up for a Static IP. Otherwise if the IP ever changes you will have to reconfig all your clients to point to the new IP address. Looking at the IP that the jetdirect now has you need to open a internet session using whatever browser you prefer. For the address type in the IP of the box. You should then see a screen that will let you go in and configure your server. If you dont see this screen you need to do a few things. Download the latest firmware for the 300x HP Webadmin software. If you prefer to do this with out a download it can be down using telnet but it is more messy.
