hp actually started selling their boxes with mandrake preinstalled on them at walmart a while back. either they started selling, so they pulled them to take all of the profit for themselves, or they didn't want to be associated with walmart.

it is really cool though, that there are major hardware manufacturers selling their equipment with linux on them.

Didn't realize that the Wal-Mart machines were HP. Of course, now they're selling SuSE.

they were hp, but they were pulled, and now another brand is being sold.
