HP iPAQ h2210 Pocket PC Review

I know this model has dual slots, so if you have an SD memory card and a CF wireless card, then what about GPS? Are there going to be any adapters or sleeves for this model? I am really thinking about getting this model, but I would like to be able to wireless site surveys at work with it. Anyone heard anything in addition to these previews/reviews or is just too new?

(1) Sandisk is coming out with combo cards this year. Already released is a combo 256MB/Wi-Fi 802.11b CompactFlash card. So you could have 256MB of memory and a Wi-Fi all in one CF slot and have your SDIO slot open for an SDIO GPS card.

Later this year, they are going to release an SDIO combo 256MB/Wi-Fi SDIO card. So you can have 256MB of memory and Wi-Fi all together in your SDIO slot and have the CF slot open for a GPS card.

(2) No sleeves. None needed...it has two slots already. You've covered in every possible way.

(3) I have one...got it Saturday. It rocks.

Cool. Thanks. I'll check those reviews out. Where did you get yours at? What is the quality of those combo cards is my next question then? I would want a wireless card of some sort that I could hook up external antennas. As long as I can get memory, wireless, and GPS packed into this sucker I'd be set.

(1) I got mine from Best Buy.

(2) I don't know about the quality of the Sandisk combo Wi-Fi/Memory CF cards as they have JUST come out. I can say though that Sandisk has a reputation for slow and sometimes flaky memory (SD, CF, etc.). I don't know if this is the case with the new combo cards or not. I would hope not.

Take a look at at this comparison for how slow Sandisk memory typically is:
