I have a HP 840C inkjet which was TOTALLY jammed up. I put in a new black original HP cartidge and ran 15 cleaning cycles, primes, etc. It opened up a little, but it still splatters ink on the paper in every odd line.
One line prints fine.... the next is blurred and distorted.
What do i do now? I knowthat Hp printers have the print head built into the cartridge. I have tried 2 cartidges with no results. I guess the mechanism inside the printer is jammed with dried ink.
I read on a website that i could fill 91% Isopropyl alcohol in a used cartridge and run cleaning cycles with that, hence flushing out the dried up ink. Problem is.... this procedure was for Epson printers.
I have a totally clean and dried out HP 840C Black cartridge and Iso propyl alcohol.
Should i go ahead with it? Or any other ways out?
