HP ink cartridges: capacity of C6578A vs. C6578D

I just got an hp printer and plan on using refill kis when my ink runs out. My printer came with a large black and a small (C6578D instead of C6578A) color cartridge. I want to know how much I can put in the color cartridge. Can someone tell me whether the two different color cartridges (A & D) just come with more or less ink or do they actually have different capacities? Thanks

Yes, the 78AN and 78DN do have different ink capacities. The 78AN holds 38ml while the 78DN holds 19ml. Hope this helps TakedownCA.
