There is a lot of information out there, but I seem to still have a problem doing this. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this and could help me with this. Well I recently got a HP Envy, with a 750 hd. I then bought a 120 SSD and was able to install it with no problem. The problem is I have my operating system on the 750 gb hd not the SSD. My goal is to have it on the SSD.
What I did was downloaded a program called acronis true 11. I used that program to clone the HD to the SSD. While doing the process it says it has to restart and then after restarted nothing happens. Either im doing something wrong or it just doesnt work correctly.
So I was wondering, how do I get to my goal of cloning my 750 gb HD to my SSD. I would like to do that. I dont care about using acronis but I have it and if anyone has experience with it I can try to use that to figure it out. Thanks for your help
