Good deal at 450$ or no? It will be used mainly for gaming and to get the full 1440 will the HDMI cable suffice?
I have a FX-8350 and MIS OC R290 pushing it so I don't see a problem there.
Your thoughts?

I'm contemplating getting the same monitor. It has the same panel as the BenQ BL3200PT but there are also some differences. BL3200PT is supposed to be PWM free but I'm not so sure about the HP. I'd love to know what the absolute input lag is on this one.

I have one. Its a great monitor for me until 4K gets cheaper, and the Sync issues are settled.

use the displayport cable that comes with it. hdmi doesn't support 4:4:4 chrome subsampling per ars discussion.

This monitor uses PWM, hence that's why it is 150 bucks cheaper than BenQ Samsung acer and Asus alternatives using the same panel.
