Hi all,
anyone has experience with this laptop? HP Envy 15-1100 Specs:
Intel® Core i7 Prozessor i7-720QM
8 GB DDR3 (4 x 2048 MB)
(4 gb would be enough but HP in my country offers 0 config options, just couple of alternative configs).
250 GB SATA 5400 U/min + 160 GB SSD (Intel)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830
15.6 1920 x 1080 BrightView (too bad, US-Store offers matte option not available here)
Reviews aren't very favorable. (too hot, loud,...)
Could get it for around 2100 $
(Cheaper than the i5 variant with 4 gb and matte configured in US-Store)
battery life doesn't matter that much. Need to carry it to my course where you have to option to plug it in. So even just 1 hrs with the small battery is fine.
I like the general idea of the envys. External optical drive is nice imho. hardly ever need one anyway. Powerful yet light.
? mean it's not cheap but anythign remotely comparable is worse and mor expensive.
