What I’m looking for is if anyone knows whether a port replicator exists that will take a single USB C cable and output USB for a keyboard/mouse and display port for a monitor?

As a birthday present I ordered an HP Envy 15 (i7 11gen 8C/16T, 16GB Ram, 3050Ti) for my teenage daughter to replace her dying XPS13 (Kaby Lake 4C/8T 8GB Ram, integrated graphics). The Envy was $400 less than a comparable XPS 15.

The one thing missing is a docking option. No proprietary dock or Thunderbolt option exists that I can find. I’d rather she didn’t have to plug in a power cable, monitor cable, and USB cable.

My daughters current setup is a Dell thunderbolt dock connected to an external monitor (Dell 2219HC usb C monitor) and a Logitech receiver for the mouse/keyboard.

The new setup will use the same monitor a new mechanical USB keyboard with RGB and a Logitech mouse.

The Envy 15 has 2X USB C with Display Port 1.4 - 2 USB A and 1 HDMI. The envy doesn’t do USB C charging so we’ll be stuck using regular charge connector regardless

Wow, the HP Envy you describe has a 200W power adapter. Most hubs or docks are limited to +/- 100W for USB-C power delivery. She'll have to use stock power adapter.

That said, pretty much any USB-C dock or hub will provide your preferred video connection (HDMI/DP/VGA). You'll gain some USB-A ports by using the monitor as a hub, too.
