HP DVD 300i or NEC 1100a - Which would you choose and why?

I am looking into buying one of these two DVD+R drives, just not sure which one I should pick!

I had the DVD 300I and liked it, the software was terrible, but I liked the DVD Burner quite a bit when I used Nero with it...

I would prefer the NEC1300A myself. It isn't that much more expensive.
